Institutional Invoicing Provides Advantages to Medical Schools and Residency Programs

November 2, 2021—STFM member institutions can now automate and streamline membership renewal while eliminating the chance for lapsed memberships with STFM's new institutional invoicing. Feedback from member institutions who have taken advantage of the updated billing process has been positive and has emphasized the program's benefits.

"STFM membership offers faculty development and educational resources for current and future residency faculty. STFM is not just for faculty… it offers family medicine coordinators an opportunity to network and engage in projects with coordinators from around the world within the STFM Coordinator Collaborative," said Deborah Egger, Education Program Coordinator at Mayo Clinic Family Medicine Residency Eau Claire Program. "Institutional invoicing allowed us to simplify the membership renewal process and ensure no lapse in coverage for our residents, faculty, and residency coordinator. Best of all, we never lose access to our STFM member benefits."

Member institutions who have not yet taken advantage of the program should contact Membership Marketing Coordinator Emily Nitcher for more information.
