STFM Launches New Website

December 17, 2018 — STFM has launched a new website featuring streamlined navigation and an improved user experience.

The site was redesigned based on member feedback, as well as anticipated member needs. Key features on the site include:

  • Megamenus for easy access to resources
  • Improved responsive design, creating a better user experience on tablets and phones
  • Streamlined functionality for conference submissions, registrations, and membership renewals
  • User-friendly options for researching account history and personal receipts

"STFM members provided valuable input and ideas for the new website, and we are excited about its debut," said STFM Deputy Director Mary Theobald. "We listened to member needs and challenges and designed the new site with those in mind."

When logging in to the new website, STFM members will be asked to activate their accounts by updating their log-in credentials and profiles. Members should carefully review and update their profiles. "The member profile information helps STFM target communications, so members don't get emails and other communications that aren't relevant to them." The member profile information is also used for conference programs and name badges.

"One thing that will not change with the new site is our commitment to a superior member experience," said Theobald. "STFM's new website will continue to be a reliable source for publications, research, conferences, teaching resources, faculty development, and awards and scholarships."

Visitors are encouraged to explore the new website and update their log-in credentials and profiles at stfm.org.
