STFM Is Looking for Its Next Representative for the Center for the History of Family Medicine Board of Curators

May 29, 2020—The Center for the History of Family Medicine (CHFM) is the primary repository of information and resources on the history and evolution of general practice, family medicine, the discipline of family medicine, and family medicine organizations. Since its inception in 1992, STFM has had a presence on CHFM’s Board of Curators.

STFM is inviting applications for the next STFM representative on the CHFM Board of Curators. In this role, the liaison is responsible for representing STFM at the bi-annual CHFM meeting, continuing the ongoing STFM oral history project, and coordinating activities pertinent to the documentation and promotion of STFM's history. Travel to the one, in-person Curator's meeting is paid by STFM. The STFM representative on the CHFM Board of Curators serves a 3-year term, beginning November 2020.
