Fellowship Director

Molly Clark, PhD

University of Mississippi

Dr Clark is currently a tenured associate professor and fellowship director in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center where she also holds a faculty appointment in the Department of Human Behavior and Psychiatry. She received her doctoral training at the University of Southern Mississippi, completed her residency at the University of Missouri-Columbia, and fellowship in health psychology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She is board certified in Clinical Health Psychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). Within family medicine, she trains family medicine residents how to manage their patients from a biopsychosocial framework and work within an interdisciplinary team environment. In addition, this environment provides a great training opportunity for postdoctoral candidates who would like to work within integrated care and specialize in health psychology. She has served as the chair for the STFM Family and Behavioral Health Collaborative and as board member of the National Register of Health Service Psychologists. Currently, she serves as member at large with APAHC, sit on the Mississippi Board of Psychology.

Melissa Arthur, PhD

St Joseph's Hospital Health Center

Dr Arthur is the director of Behavioral Science at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, NY. She is an associate professor at Upstate Medical University. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work, a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a PhD in Counseling Education at Syracuse University. Melissa supervises Syracuse University Mental Health Graduate students at the family medicine residency medical center and provides emotional support for the staff when crises occur in the hospital. At home, she spends time with her husband and two daughters and enjoys walking and cross country skiing. Presently, she is training a puppy for Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
